I love french toast. There is just something dreamy about it!
Now add a little eggnog to the mix and be still my beating heart. French toast is one of those recipes that can be whipped up in a matter of minutes and the payoff is enormous!

Eggnog French Toast

- 2 eggs lightly beaten
- 1 cup eggnog
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 6 pieces Texas toast
- Mix eggs, eggnog, cinnamon and nutmeg in small wide bowl or gladware container.
- Place slice of Texas toast in egg mixture allow to sit for 1 minute. Flip over and allow to soak for another minute.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in skillet over medium heat. Add the toast and cook until it is golden brown. Add another tablespoon of butter before cooking more toast.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with whipped cream if desired.
