Ingredients
3 cups seedless green grapes
3 cups seedless red grapes
4 ounces cream cheese softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
After washing the grapes, dry them thoroughly with paper towels. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, blend the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Fold in the grapes and sprinkle the dish with brown sugar, walnuts, and pecans.
Notes
Use any seedless grapes, including white, red, and black.
Use any kind of nuts, including pecan, walnuts, almonds, and cashews.
Do not use the low-fat versions of cream cheese and sour cream. They add moisture to this dish, and you want it smooth and super creamy.
For a more health conscience salad, substitute full-fat Greek yogurt for sour cream.
Adjust the sugar to taste if the grapes are on the sour side.
For added flavor, toast the nuts before adding to the salad.
For an extra special dessert treat, top with chopped Snickers or Heath Bars.
