1lb.Brussels sprouts
1medium onion diced
2tablespoonsolive oil
2tablespoonspure maple syrup
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoononion powder
1/2teaspoonkosher salt
1/2teaspoonfresh ground black pepper
Instructions
Combine the Brussels sprouts, onion, olive oil, maple syrup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Toss to mix and coat.
Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees for 3-5 minutes. Add the Brussels sprouts mixture to the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-18 minutes or until tender with crispy edges; shake the basket several times. Cooking times will vary depending on your air fryer and the size of your Brussels sprouts.
Sprinkle with more kosher salt and black pepper to taste. For best results, serve promptly.
Notes
Select Brussels sprouts of uniform size so they cook at the same rate and time.
Every air fryer cooks at a different pace, so check on them frequently and shake the basket when you do.
If you have a small air fryer, work in two batches so as not to crowd it. Keep the first batch in the oven warm while you cook the second batch.
Honey can be substituted for the maple syrup.
For a change of taste, drizzle with balsamic glaze, balsamic vinegar, or soy sauce. Or top with freshly grated Parmesan Cheese, crisp bacon crumbles, or red pepper flakes.
