A five ingredient tasty dip for panko breaded shrimp, chicken wings or taquitos. It also makes for a delicious condiment spread for sandwiches, burgers, tacos and burritos.
In a small bowl and whisk together the mayo, sriracha sauce, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and lemon juice. Season with kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes
For optimal flavor use good quality real mayonnaise not salad dressing. I like to use Dukes.
Sriracha Sauce can be found in the Asian food section or condiment section of your local grocery.
You can substitute another type of hot sauce for the sriracha including Tabasco sauce, Franks hot sauce, or any Louisiana style hot sauce.
If you like it with a touch of sweetness add 1-2 tablespoons honey.
Lime juice can be substituted for the lemon juice.
When stored in the refrigerator sriracha sauce (not sriracha mayo) can last up nine months even after opened. I use it in a lot of my stir fry recipes.
Make a batch of this spicy mayo, store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks and use it on different things that you cook through the week including eggs, potatoes, and fish.
