Add the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, minced onion, minced garlic, horseradish, chopped dill, lemon juice, black pepper and salmon in a food processor. Pulse several times to combine and until preferred texture.
Chill for 1 hour. Garnish with fresh dill, green onions, or fresh chives. Serve with crostini and fresh vegetables like carrot sticks and celery sticks. .
Notes
Use fresh squeezed lemon juice. For an extra bonus add just a touch of zest.
Buy good quality smoked salmon as it really makes a difference. I purchase honey smoked salmon from Costco.
For best results use fresh dill. It is so fragrant and tasty in this recipe. It really takes this dip to a whole new level.
Smoked salmon is naturally salty so watch what you pair it with. No added salt is recommended.
Stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator this dip will last 4-5 days,
