Ingredients

  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ½ cup white rum or light rum 4 ounces
  • 2 cups of ice cubes
  • lime twist optional garnish
  • maraschino cherry optional garnish

Instructions

  • Add the bananas, coconut milk, lime juice, sugar, rum, and ice to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.  Pour into glasses and garnish with lime twists and maraschino cherries.

Notes

  • For a touch of vanilla flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
