Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk any kind
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 large frozen banana cut into chunks
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • Dash of nutmeg optional

Instructions

  • Add the ingredients to a blender or food processor and mix until smooth.
  • Pour into glasses or cups and if desired, garnish with fresh fruit or mint.

Notes

  • Freeze bananas with their jackets on.
  • Instead of buying a whole bag of frozen blueberries, wash fresh blueberries, shake as much water out of them as possible and place them in a freezer-safe bowl in the freezer for about 1-2 hours.
  • Any dairy or non-dairy milk works with this smoothie.
  • Any yogurt will work with this recipe. I prefer unsweetened Greek yogurt for its nutritional value.
  • Smoothies are always best consumed as soon as they are made while they are still frosty and refreshing. If you must save some, place it in an airtight container in the freezer and reblend before enjoying.
