Ingredients
4chicken cutlets
3tablespoonsall-purpose flour
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
½teaspoononion powder
½teaspoonsmoked paprika
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
2tablespoonsbuttersalted or unsalted
1tablespoonolive oil
1head of garliccloves separated and peeled
⅔cuplow-sodium chicken broth
½teaspoongarlic powder
1cupheavy cream warmed to room temperature

Instructions
Whisk the flour, Italian seasoning, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a wide shallow bowl. Dredge both sides of the chicken cutlets through the flour mixture.
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides and cooked through. Plate the chicken and cover loosely with an aluminum foil tent.
Reduce the heat to low. Melt the remaining butter in the skillet. Add the garlic cloves and cook until golden brown and fragrant.
Add the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to loosen the brown bits. Stir in the garlic powder and heavy cream. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Simmer for 5-10 minutes to reduce.
Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and spoon the sauce and toasted garlic over the chicken.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the microwave at 50% power for 1-minute increments until warm.
