Notes
For a thick, creamy texture, use frozen fruit.
This smoothie has natural sweetness from the frozen peaches and banana, but if more sweetness is desired, add just 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey.
You can freeze fresh bananas right in their skin or stow away slightly overripe bananas in a freezer container and use them for smoothies.
If you prefer to use fresh peaches, add 1-1 1/2 cups of ice cubes.
Any dairy or non-dairy milk, like oat milk, almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk, or cashew milk, works with this smoothie.
If you prefer, you can substitute fruit juice for the milk. Apple juice, orange juice, white grape juice, and peach nectar are all great choices.
Try a pinch of ground ginger. It complements the taste of the peach.
Start out with a small amount of milk and see if that is enough for the blender to get moving. If not, add more milk in small increments.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer. Reblend in the blender or food processor until smooth. If needed, add a little milk.
