Ingredients
2cupswhole milkor almond milk
2large ripe bananas
¼teaspooncinnamon
¼teaspoonpure vanilla extract
Instructions
Add the milk, banana, cinnamon and vanilla to a blender and blend until smooth.
Serve promptly.
Notes
The riper the banana the sweeter the milk so use up those old ones sitting on counter with brown spots.
For best results use ice cold milk.
Whole milk tastes the best with this but you can use 2%, or skim. Non dairy milk options are almond, soy, goat, cashew, coconut, or oat.
For a thicker ice cold milk treat freeze the banana chunks for about 2 hours.
Feel free to add a scoop of vanilla or unflavored protein powder. Or a sprinkle of chia seeds or flax seeds.
This is best served as soon as it is blended to avoid separation.
