How to make Banana Milk
Recipes just don’t get any easier than this. Simply add the milk, banana, cinnamon and vanilla to a blender and blend until smooth. Then serve promptly. You can split the recipe in half and make it just for one or double it and make it for four.
Recipe notes and helpful tips
- The riper the banana the sweeter the milk and the greater the banana flavor so use up those old ones sitting on the counter with brown spots.
- For best results use ice cold milk.
- Whole milk tastes the best with this but you can use 2% or skim milk. Almond milk, soy milk, goat milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, or oat milk are all great dairy-free options.
- This delicious milk needs no added sugar but if you must use just a touch of maple syrup or honey.
- For a thicker ice cold milk treat, freeze the banana chunks for about 2 hours.
- Feel free to add a scoop of vanilla or unflavored protein powder. Or a sprinkle of chia seeds or flax seeds.
- This is best served as soon as it is blended to avoid separation.
