Ingredients
1lbpizza dough
2tablespoonsolive oil
½cuppizza sauce
½teaspoondried oregano
3tablespoonsParmesan cheese
2cupsmozzarella cheese
2ouncespepperoni
½green pepper, thinly sliced
¼cupthinly sliced red onion
Instructions
Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Lightly grease or oil a 10 or 12-inch cast-iron skillet.
Pat out the pizza dough in the cast-iron skillet. Poke it well with a table fork. See the picture above.
Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, sprinkle with oregano, and top with the Parmesan and 1½ cups of mozzarella cheese. Top with pepperoni, green pepper, and onion. Top with the remaining cheese.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the microwave at 50% power for short increments until warm.
