Ingredients

  • 3 cups seedless green grapes
  • 3 cups seedless red grapes
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  • After washing the grapes, dry them thoroughly with paper towels. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, blend the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold in the grapes and sprinkle the dish with brown sugar, walnuts, and pecans.

Notes

  • Use any seedless grapes, including white, red, and black.
  • Use any kind of nuts, including pecan, walnuts, almonds, and cashews.
  • Do not use the low-fat versions of cream cheese and sour cream. They add moisture to this dish, and you want it smooth and super creamy.
  • For a more health conscience salad, substitute full-fat Greek yogurt for sour cream.
  • Adjust the sugar to taste if the grapes are on the sour side.
  • For added flavor, toast the nuts before adding to the salad.
  • For an extra special dessert treat, top with chopped Snickers or Heath Bars.
