Sriracha Mayonnaise Recipe

A five-ingredient spicy sriracha mayonnaise sauce for panko-breaded shrimp, chicken wings, or taquitos.  It also makes for a delicious condiment spread for sandwiches, burgers, tacos, and burritos.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a small bowl and whisk together the mayo, sriracha sauce, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and lemon juice.  Season with kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

  • You can substitute another type of hot sauce for the Sriracha, including Tabasco sauce, Franks hot sauce, or any Louisiana-style hot sauce.
  • If you like it with a touch of sweetness add 1-2 tablespoons honey.
  • Store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
