Strawberry Salsa

This incredibly Strawberry Salsa combines fresh berries, sweet red bell pepper, red onion, and jalapeno, in a little sweetened lime juice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • ½ cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 small jalapeno pepper, stem removed and finely chopped
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • pinch of salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Toss all the ingredients together in a medium bowl. Season with the salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  • Cover and chill for at least 2 hours so all the flavors meld.

Notes

Store the salsa in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
