Fresh Peach Salsa takes fresh peaches, sweet tomatoes, and spicy jalapenos to a whole new, tantalizing level of taste. Enjoy it on crisp tortilla chips, chicken tacos, and grilled fish and shrimp.

Feeling Just Peachy
Try this easy and flavorful peach salsa recipe. It’s a perfect combination of sweet and spicy and will surely be a crowd-pleaser at your next gathering. Gone are the days when the peaches were picked and hauled to the market still green. Now, we have fresh peaches that have been allowed to ripen fully on the tree, and it is almost peach season.
This easy Peach Salsa comes together quickly. I like to chop the veggies for this salsa by hand rather than running them through the food processor, but it goes very quickly. Ripe peaches can be slightly soft and do better when sliced by hand. I don’t mind. I think slicing and dicing fruits and vegetables is therapeutic. It gives me a chance to reflect on the day.

Fresh Peach Salsa Calls for Fresh Ingredients
- Peach: fresh, fully ripened peaches
- Tomatoes: fresh, fully ripened tomatoes
- Onion: sweet red onion is best
- Jalapeno: look for the younger peppers that are smooth and green all over with no striations or blemishes.
- Cilantro: fresh, of course
- Lime: for fresh lime juice
Beth’s Recipe Tips
- For optimal flavor, choose fresh tree-ripened peaches, as they are the star of the show.
- Use freshly squeezed lime juice, and squeeze a little on the peaches while dicing them. This will help keep your peaches from turning brown while you cut them.
- If you have fresh garden tomatoes or access to them, by all means, use them. I used grape tomatoes because they were the most flavorful and colorful tomatoes available at the time.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

Ways to Serve Peach Salsa
I like to serve it spooned over grilled chicken breasts, ham steak, and pan-fried pork chops. It is also delicious with salsa chicken, crock pot chicken tacos, breakfast tacos, and salmon tacos.
