Creamy Honey Mustard Sauce is one of my favorite dipping sauces and toppings for sandwiches and wraps. You can whip up this delectable sauce in less than 5 minutes. Make a double batch because this sauce is just that good!

We absolutely love this creamy mustard sauce. This sauce is so good that you might risk the chance of being seen licking the bowl. The delicious and clever ways to serve this sauce are endless.
Ingredient Notes and Substitutions
See the complete list of ingredients on the recipe card below.
- Mayonnaise: I like Duke’s, but you can use your favorite brand.
- Mustard: We love a mix of Dijon mustard and yellow mustard. Spicy brown mustard is also delicious in this sauce.
- Apple cider vinegar: As a substitute, you can use white wine vinegar or champagne vinegar.
- Smoked paprika: Don’t confuse this with sweet or hot paprika. The peppers are smoked over an oak fire before grinding them, which adds a lot of flavor dimension.

Preparation Tips
- If you are watching your sugar, cut the honey back to one tablespoon. It will still taste delicious, and odds are your taste buds are accustomed to less sugar.
- To add a little heat and spice, try a little cayenne pepper, hot sauce, or Cajun seasoning.
- Make a double batch and use it for sandwiches and wraps.
Ways To Use Honey Mustard Sauce
- Dip fresh vegetables in it. Our favorites are carrots, celery, and cucumbers.
- Dunk chicken nuggets, chicken strips, and fish sticks in it.
- Use as a salad dressing on your favorite garden salad or chef salad.
- Spread on your favorite turkey, chicken, or ham sandwich.
- Top your grilled burger, fish, chicken, or pork steak with a tablespoon or two.
- Dip your onion rings, blooming onions, and chicken wings.

This is the only sauce I make to serve with your amazing fried cod! We use it for everything, but it soooo good with that cod! I tried to leave 5 stars, because it deserves it, but for some reason I couldn’t get the 5th star to stay?!

Honey and mustard are so divine together. I love the sound of this sauce. It reminds me a little of dijonnaise but with honey it’s definitely even better!
