Quick and easy Mini Pizza made with premade pizza dough and your favorite pizza sauce. Customize them with your favorite pizza toppings and cheese. I love to serve them with a simple tossed salad or minestrone soup.

How to make Mini Pizza
Flour your work surface well. Using the palm of your hand and your fingers, shape and gently stretch the pizza dough into your desired-sized crust. With Pillsbury’s ready-made biscuit or pizza crust, it is best to stretch them into 5-6 inch circles. Place the crusts on a parchment-covered baking sheet with some space between them.

Spread about 1 heaping tablespoon of your favorite pizza sauce over the top. Then top with about half the cheese. Add your favorite toppings, the remainder of the cheese, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning. Bake for about 13-15 minutes in a preheated oven. Top with chopped fresh basil or Italian parsley.

Helpful recipe tips
- You can substitute ready-made fresh pizza dough (my favorite grocery store carries it most of the time), ready-made refrigerated tube pizza dough (use a biscuit cutter or large glass to cut the dough), biscuit dough, homemade pizza dough, or even crescent roll dough.
- A good pizza sauce makes a big difference. We like Rao’s Homemade Pizza Sauce. It is so flavorful with fresh tomato, garlic, and oregano.
- Other cheeses to try besides mozzarella cheese include provolone, provel, cheddar, pepper jack, Monterey jack, and Parmesan cheese.
- Use your favorite toppings but make sure that the toppings are cut into small pieces. For example, cut your pepperoni in half, select small mushrooms to slice, and chop tomatoes, spinach, bacon, onions, and peppers into small pieces.
- Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container or zipper bag for up to 3 days. Reheat in the stove or air fryer.
- To freeze, first fully cool. Then store in a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight and reheat in the stove or air fryer.

Pizza Topping
- Meats – pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, bacon, ham, or grilled chicken
- Vegetables – onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, jalapenos, banana peppers, or spinach
- Fruit – olives, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, eggplant, or zucchini

My children would have great fun creating these mini pizzas at home. In my opinion homemade pizzas always taste so much better than store bought ones.
