Culinary Advice
- Let the pizza dough rest at room temperature for 2-4 hours. To do this, brush some olive oil into a glass or ceramic bowl. Add the pizza dough and cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and let it sit at room temperature for a while. This makes the dough easier to work with by letting the gluten relax.
- After patting out the pizza dough, poke it well with a table fork. This process is known as docking.
- This pizza is equally delicious with rotisserie chicken. It adds a distinct flavor dimension and is easy to shred. They are available at most grocery stores and warehouse clubs like Costco and Sam’s Club.

Perfect Pairings
- Appetizers: 7-layer dip, queso fundido, or easy taco dip.
- Salad: corn salad, Mexican coleslaw, or Mexican street corn pasta salad.
- Soup: gazpacho, chicken taco soup, or black bean soup.
