This Caesar Salad Dressing is rich and creamy, with hints of fresh lemons, Dijon mustard, and minced capers instead of anchovies, to achieve a salty, briny tang. You are going to love it and want to use it as a dip, spread, or chicken marinade.

I don’t mind anchovies, but my family turns their nose at them. If your family is anything like mine, try this Caesar dressing. You won’t miss the fish.
Ingredient Notes and Substitutions
See the complete list of ingredients on the recipe card below.
- Mayonnaise: I love Duke’s mayo, but you can use your favorite brand.
- Garlic: There is a little more than a handful of ingredients, so every one of them stands out. Use freshly minced garlic.
- Lemon juice: For the ultimate flavor, use fresh lemon juice.
- Minced capers: They are a great alternative for those who dislike anchovies. You can substitute a teaspoon of anchovy paste.
- Parmesan cheese: Use freshly grated cheese for the best flavor.
Whisk all the ingredients together in a large bowl. Store it in a mason jar or airtight container for up to 5 days.

Ways To Use It
- As a condiment in wraps and sandwiches. Try my chicken Caesar wrap.
- Use it as a marinade for grilled chicken or pork.
- It makes a great dipping sauce for fries, fresh vegetables, and lemon pepper wings.
- Use it on my tortilla pizzas. Skip the sauce and bake the pizzas with just a thin layer of olive oil brushed on the tortillas. Drizzle the Caesar salad dressing over the freshly baked pizza.
- Mix it into pasta salad, such as chicken Caesar pasta salad.
- Use it as a dressing in green salads such as chicken Caesar salad or grilled chicken salad.
