This classic Strawberry Daiquiri is made in just a few minutes using frozen and fresh strawberries, simple syrup, rum, and lime juice. The result is a mouth-watering burst of ripe strawberries in a chilled, refreshing cocktail without the strong taste of alcohol.

Whether mixing up this frozen drink for a pool party or just for you and your significant other, these are the perfect spring and summer adult beverages. If you like this cocktail, try my Whiskey Sour, Tequila Sunrise, Pineapple Margarita, and White Russian.
Ingredient Notes and Substitutions
See the complete list of ingredients on the recipe card below.
- Strawberries: Fresh and frozen for the best flavor and texture.
- Rum: Use a white rum or light rum like Bacardi. Not a dark or spiced rum.
- Simple syrup: Prepare your simple syrup.
- Lime juice: Use fresh limes and squeeze the juice, or combine fresh lime juice with fresh lemon juice.

How to Make a Strawberry Daiquiri
This is a summary version; for the complete list of ingredients and instructions, please refer to the recipe card below.
- Add strawberries, rum, simple syrup, and lime juice to a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is slushy.
- Pour mixture into glasses and garnish.

Preparation Tips
- Don’t use ice cubes, as they water down the flavor. Use frozen berries. I have always found frozen strawberries sweet, as growers let them ripen more on the vine before picking.
- Make simple syrup up to 4 weeks in advance.
- Store simple syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Mix these as needed so they are refreshing and frosty.
- Skip the alcohol, add a little Sprite or ginger ale, and make a virgin strawberry daiquiri. The kids will love them.
- If you don’t have a blender, use a cocktail shaker to muddle the strawberries and simple syrup together. Then, strain the mixture into a glass. Add rum, lime juice, and ice. It will not be a frozen cocktail, but it will still be delicious.

Love this one. Daiquiris are just slushies for grownups, and I can’t wait to snag some fresh strawberries from the neighbors for my adult slushies all summer long.
