Comfort food at its best.  This delectable Creamed Corn is made with a handful of ingredients in less than 15 minutes using ingredients that you might already have on hand.




  1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.  Add the onions; cooking for 3-4 minutes.  Sprinkle with flour; continue cooking for 2 minutes stirring continuously.
  2. Stir in the milk and cream in increments; alternating between the two.  Stir continuously until smooth.
  3. Stir in corn, dried thyme, dried parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 10-15 minutes.  Add 2 tablespoons butter and stir to melt.
