This mouthwatering Hawaiian pizza brings crispy bacon, sweet ham, and fresh pineapple together in perfect harmony on already prepared flatbread. Flat flour tortillas, doubled up, work well and taste really good, too!

These pizzas are always a huge hit with the family. I like to make these on Naan, but any delicious flatbread will work. Have you ever tried pineapple on a pizza? If not, you really need to give it a whirl. It is amazing and complements the ham and crispy bacon fabulously!
Ingredient Notes and Substitutions
See the complete list of ingredients on the recipe card below.
- Marinara: I really like Rao’s Homemade Pizza Sauce and Classico Fire Roasted Pizza Sauce, but any flavorful sauce will work.
- Bacon: Use your favorite brand of smoked bacon.
- Ham: Use thinly sliced deli ham or Canadian bacon.
- Pineapple: Use fresh or canned pineapple. I recommend patting the pineapple dry to prevent a soggy crust.
- Cheese: You can use a mix of Italian cheeses that melt well, such as Mozzarella, Provolone, Provel, Parmesan, Romano, or Fontina.
How to Make Hawaiian Pizza
This is a summary version; for the complete list of ingredients and instructions, please refer to the recipe card below.
- Preheat the oven. If using a pizza stone, add it to the oven before preheating.
- Layer each flatbread with marinara sauce, cheese, pineapple, ham, and bacon.
- Bake until the pizza lightly browns and the cheese melts.

Preparation Tips
- If you have time or prefer, make it with homemade pizza dough.
- For extra-crispy crust, prebake the flatbread in the oven right on the rack for about 3 minutes.
- These flatbread pizzas cook very fast, so the hamburger, sausage, bacon, and any other meat toppings should be precooked.
- Avoid overloading with too many toppings.

Serving Suggestions
I love to serve it with Italian chopped salad, Olive Garden copycat salad, or cucumber tomato salad. Other delicious choices are minestrone, roasted red pepper soup, or ravioli soup.

Where do find provel ropes
Beth Pierce
They are available here in the Midwest…well at least parts of the Midwest. If you can not find it substitute shredded provolone.
