30 Minute Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. In large stock pot or heavy saucepan heat oil over medium heat. Add carrots, celery and onion and cook until just starting to soften; approximately 3-5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium low. Add sage, thyme, rosemary, onion powder and parsley and cook for 30 seconds. Add chicken broth and bring to low boil. Add chicken and egg noodles and cook until noodles are soft; 8-15 minutes (varies depending on your egg noodle)
  2. Melt butter in microwave and stir in flour. Slowly add butter/flour mixture to soup whisking in small amounts at a time. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately
